Occupational Therapy (OT)

Occupational therapy helps children develop the skills and abilities they need to participate in all aspects of life, including play,  dressing/hygiene tasks, sensory, writing their name, coloring, engaging with peers, and more. We work on gross motor skills, fine motor skills, visual motor, social development, cognitive development, and sensory integration. We set goals with the family with a focus on what is important for their child to accomplish in the home, school, and the community. Our goal is to have each child be as independent as possible in their daily routine. Each child has a session 1x/week with home programming provided as needed.

Rachel OTR/L, occupational therapist, completes the evaluation, supervisory appointments 1x/month, re-evaluations, and discharges via Telehealth. Tauzya, certified occupational therapy assistant, completes weekly treatment sessions at Learning Solutions,  provides hand on support as needed.
